This Privacy Policy explains how Keystone Turnout Project (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit pavote.org or open emails we send you. We may update this policy from time to time; the date above will always reflect the most recent revision.
Information we collect
Information you provide
Most of pavote.org doesn’t ask for anything from you. If you contact us, sign up for updates, fill out a form, or make a donation on this site, we receive the information you provide. Forms may request:
Email address (required for most forms): so we can respond and send updates you’ve requested.
Phone number (optional): for text reminders about voting deadlines or volunteer opportunities. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out.
Donation information: name, mailing address, payment details, and — as required by Pennsylvania election law — occupation and employer for contributions over reporting thresholds. Payments are processed through a third-party payment processor; we do not store full credit card numbers on our systems.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, we collect:
Log data: browser type, access times, pages viewed, IP address, and the page that referred you to ours.
Device information: hardware model, operating system, and similar identifiers.
Cookies and tracking pixels: we use cookies and web beacons to count visits, understand which content is useful, and measure how well our email campaigns reach voters. Email tracking pixels tell us when a message is opened or a link is clicked.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
Operate and improve pavote.org;
Understand how voters use the site so we can make it more useful;
Measure the reach and effectiveness of our voter outreach;
Send you updates, reminders, and other information you’ve requested, by email or text;
Process donations and send acknowledgments;
Respond to questions you send us;
Comply with reporting obligations under Pennsylvania election law.
How we share information
Service providers. We use third-party service providers for hosting, email, analytics, and (when you make a donation) payment processing. These providers process information on our behalf under their own privacy obligations.
Allied organizations. We may share information with other voter-outreach organizations and aligned political committees that share our goals of expanding civic participation.
Pennsylvania Department of State. As a registered Pennsylvania political action committee, we report donor information when required by state law.
Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of Keystone Turnout Project and others.
Aggregated data. We may share aggregated or anonymized information that does not identify you.
We do not sell your information.

We use reasonable measures to protect information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. We are based in the United States, and information we collect is processed here. pavote.org is intended for adults of voting age and is not directed at children.
